Warmest Welcome!
For those of you who personally know me, you probably already know my complex dynamics... From setting up high-end business deals to riding a GSXR 600 sports bike or leg pressing 350+lbs at the gym, I have many exciting hobbies and lots of ceaseless drive!
I imagine that you must be wondering… Where does all this drive and excitement come from? The answer… It comes from a multitude of setbacks and of a dream of a better life. Having come from Poland with my parents in the 90s, I experienced cultural shock, I experienced my family having very little money and constant financial struggles, and I experienced the reality that I had to one day become financially independent and emotionally intelligent in order to have a content life, and there began my quest for the answers.
You are probably also wondering, why do I have a website? The answer at this moment in time is… I don't really know why. I started annakubit.com a long time ago when I wanted to be Anthony Robbins (For a youtube playlists of Anthony Robbins Motivational Seminars, etc.:
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=search_playlists&search_query=anthony+robbins&uni=1)
and more recently annakubit.com just became a place holder, so I could share my side of things in case someone like you happens to find my website and cares to listen, perhaps learning something new. We all have some magic we wish to add to the world, and although I have gone from ultra public to ultra private and would really rather say less than more, there are still a few messages I feel publically compelled to share.
One of those messages is:
It does not matter where you have been or what you have done - you can write your own future in any way you desire. I carefully observe the world and see so many of us fall victim to societal conditioning that life is so very hard and that misery is inevitable. However true that may be, what is also true is our emotional interpretation and response to events and people around us. If we get upset, it is only because we allowed ourselves to become upset (we did not HAVE TO get upset-yes this may be news to you, but it is scientifically proven that we can CHOOSE our responses to life at each and every moment and choose not to react to life). So if we have choice, we can choose to find better solutions for our life and better ways to interpret events and circumstances. We can choose to minimize or diminish expectations, and create goals instead. We can find answers in books, from mentors or thru analytical (not reactive) thinking. We can take charge of our life and be responsible for it, or we can let the world step all over us and feel down, controlled or unable to progress. The choice is yours - what will you choose for your life to be like?
The other message I have become passionate about, which I want to share has to do with Communication, Privacy, The Internet and the way people interpret what they read. Before I get into this, please note, that I am sharing this not for my own gain or for my own purpose, but for the benefit of everyone else out there, who is increasingly experiencing negative judgment, criticism and maltreatment because of some gossip or incorrect/outdated information in a place like cyber space. I suppose I must preface this message by telling you that I have personally experienced cyberlibel (Internet Defamation) when someone posted false messages about me on some 300+ websites in '06. And this has led me onto a path of vast research into the topics of privacy, defamation, modern technology and human nature to misinterpret information exceedingly and immensely. Perhaps rather than me telling you about the problem with less privacy we increasingly face in the modern world, you can check out the index page on Privacy Matters from the NY times:
http://www.nytimes.com/library/tech/reference/index-privacy.html. Our information is often sold, which can compromise our identity and any information about us posted on the net now can easily get superglued into internet search engines, for employers and prospective friends to find and read. I am sure you will agree that you have changed your views, ways, strategies and opinions over the years as have I. But did you know that any post to a newsgroup or any details about you on a website (employer’s website for instance) can proliferate automatically in cyberspace and remain there in old archives for years? More alarming, anyone can buy a computer and use a public network to post false information about you all over the internet. If posted in a newsgroup, the messages will duplicate onto potentially hundreds of websites out there overnight and you will be able to do almost nothing about it, unless you can afford a $20,000+ attorney (my cost estimate complied over last 3 years for a cyberlibel defense as so few specialize in this area). And even if you get to sue, still the damage will have been done as a cyberlibel investigation needed for a lawsuit + the lawsuit itself can take years. Is this ok and just? Or better, shouldn’t these internet websites be held liable for disseminating defamation thru cyberspace the way a newspaper would be held liable if it published false information about you? Under the current laws (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Section_230_of_the_Communications_Decency_Act), THEY ARE NOT held liable as they are not the publisher, just the software/website. And the publisher usually (in most cases) cannot be found as they hide behind fake identities created in cyberspace and behind open public networks (likely using a computer that is untraceable to their own name – a computer, which they could have easily bought for cash off craigslist for $50). Cyberlibel is increasingly becoming a problem for ordinary folks and small businesses. I have received countless emails on my cyberlibel.org non profit website from women who overnight had to deal with harsh internet defamation because they broke up with a boyfriend who wouldn’t let go, or from businesses who are being slandered by their competitors as their competitors want to unfairly get ahead. My goal is to make people aware of this problem, and of the lack of legislation to help protect us from harm like this (especially if we are on a budget). I was personally treated as guilty of things I was accused of online and lost business and friends because of it. And so have my clients. And there was very little that we have been able to do legally to restore our good names. Kindly, think about what you read and analyze it enough to learn the truth. And please give the person experiencing defamation a chance to share their side of the story and explain what happened and why. That person will most often be able to provide proof that the defamation is really false, as they have had to think and deal with it for probably already a long time. They will want you to ask so their name can be cleared. I have felt before that I was not even given a chance to bid in business or to make a friend once I was googled (which well, being googled is apparently a typical protocol these days once a new person enters our life), and this is not fair. How would you feel if you were innocent and treated as if you were guilty? Please think and support legislation, which would allow for justice quicker and easier for cyberlibel. Please visit www.cyberlibel.org for links to articles and more resources on this topic if you would like to learn more.
Ah, and the last message I wish to share has to do with quantum physics. Quantum physics basically proves that we get in life that what we think about. Our thoughts/our observations actually influence the outcomes. Here is a youtube video that proves this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCRpqMMGttc. The video is only 5 minutes long and will scientifically prove this to you much better than I can explain it. And now, the finale – the special treat: The WHOLE movie “What the Bleep Do We Know, Down the Rabbit Hole.” This production will show you how we control our outcomes and give you a deeper view into REALITY. It is pointless for me to try to explain this, when you can watch it and learn much better: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=F40110166CE0FF56 . Be ready to invest a few hours into the whole film – it is long, but worth it.
My goal is to be a catalyst for dynamic and positive change in the world and I intend to accomplish this by being a great example for others to follow, by improving myself on an ongoing basis and by taking consistent action in the direction of my dreams.
I believe that no dream is too large to be had. I believe that the world is ours to be enjoyed; its material possessions, natural beauty and the variety of adventures it has to offer. With belief, confidence and strength of mind, we can all reach the highest mountains.
Thank you for venturing out to my website. If I may be of help to you in any way, a friend to you or help you in business, I will be most grateful for the chance.
Make it a fantastic day!
